Values
In order to reach our goal of loving God and loving our neighbor, there are several key values that we embrace at Brookhill.
Glorifying God
The glory of and a passion for God drives all things
Exalting Jesus Christ
Lifting Him up above all others in honor and worship
Embracing the Spirit
Striving for Spirit controlled lives
Elevating the Bible
Carefully preaching, diligently applying, and earnestly treasuring God’s Word
Praying Dependently
Fostering earnest communion with God
Reaching the Lost
Taking the good news to those in our community, country and world
Showing Mercy
Caring for the poor, widows, orphans and foreigners
Loving Others
Being unconcerned with petty, insignificant differences. Being quick to forgive and not holding bitterness.
Striving for Peace
Promoting peace in our families, church, community and world. Not holding grudges or jealous feelings.
Giving Generously
Presenting our time, talents, possessions, money and ourselves cheerfully for the sake of the Gospel unto the Lord.
Carrying Burdens
Helping others through the troubles, problems and sins of life as well as just simply help others whenever we can.
Developing People
Urging people on to maturity in Christ. Teaching and admonishing others never in judgmentalism, but in love.
Cherishing Diversity & Striving for Unity
Recognizing that ALL people come from "One Blood" and we are all related to each other. Racism and bigotry has no place in the church. Diversity does not mean condoning sinful lifestyles or behaviors, so unity is in light of Scriptural truth.
